What can you expect from the practical test?
The practical test consists of 2 parts:
Part 1 takes place on the exam centre grounds (+ professional competence if applicable) Part 2 takes place on public roads
The practical test for driving licence C(1) is taken with a heavy truck from VAB Driving School and under the supervision of an experienced driving instructor.
Sign in on the day of the practical test with:
Your identity card Certificate of passing the theory test Group 2 driving ability certificate Valid driving licence B In case of switch to C with professional competence: valid driving licence C
Test: result
Congratulations! You have obtained your driving licence C(1).
Go to the municipal administration with the ‘driving licence application’ form you received at the test centre to apply for your driving licence C(1). Also bring your driving ability certificate and your certificate of basic qualification, in case of professional competence.
You will receive a driving licence C1.
Then the driving licence is automatically converted to a full driving licence C.
Then you are obliged to take 35 hours of refresher training every 5 years to maintain your professional competence (Code 95). VAB Driving School is officially recognised as a training centre.
Too bad, that can happen. Analyze where it went wrong and focus on this, practice well before making another attempt within the exemption of the tests in which you did pass.
Then you are required to take 4 hours of practical lessons. After taking these lessons, you will receive a certificate from us. Take this with you the next time you go for the practical test. Is only valid with a provisional driving licence (free coaching).
If your provisional driving licence has expired, you must follow at least 8 hours of driving lessons and take your test with test supervision from the driving school.
