Pass your driving licence C(1) theory test in 2 stepsYou must be at least 18 years old to take the test and be in possession of a driving licence C(1) You are exempt from the theory test if you're going from a C(1) licence without professional competence to a C(1)E licence without professional competence and if you're going from a C(1) licence with professional competence to a C(1)E licence with professional competence You do have to take a theory test if you want to go from a C(1) licence without professional competence to a C(1)E licence with professional competence
Driving licence C1E:
You may couple a trailer of more than 750 kg to your truck. The MAM is a maximum of 12,000 kg.
Driving licence CE:
You may couple a trailer of more than 750 kg to your truck. The MAM is higher than 12,000 kg.
In our theory books you will find all the information on the traffic regulations, along with practice questions. You will also receive a personal access code to practise online.
Sign in at one of the recognised test centres with your identity card.
With professional competence
The theory test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. You need to score at least 80 out of 100 to pass. You will also have 8 case studies with 5 questions each and an oral part in which you have to answer 10 questions within an hour.
Without professional competence
You are exempt from the theory test.

Congratulations! You can now start your practical training with the driving school or opt for a provisional driving licence.
