Interested in the Electric Driving training? 

1. Introduction + acquaintance

Group discussion on the topics with an experienced VAB driving instructor as moderator.

2. Baseline measurement (20 min/candidate)

The baseline measurement takes place on the public roads. This can be done with a car from your organisation or with cars from VAB Driving School (minimum 1 car per 3 participants). Each participant completes a predetermined route, paying attention to driving style and average consumption. Afterwards there will be an evaluation of the drive and the consumption.

3. Feedback + tips on using electric vehicles (driving and charging)

Each participant receives individual feedback on the route driven. Here we give tips on how to reduce consumption, as well as correct vehicle operation, braking and steering technique, speed and preventive driving behaviour. This is followed by a group discussion on charging.

4. The new driving

We go back out on the road to apply all the discussed tips. We look again at consumption, analyse the difference and go over the evaluation form.

5. Evaluation

During the evaluation moment, we summarise what we have learned, highlight the main points of interest and give some final tips.
